Disability Consultancy Services is a part of BATH (Bromley Association of People for Disabilities), and has been successfully running since 1968. BATH is a not-for-profit organisation providing services to help meet the needs for older and disabled people. We offer a door-to-door transport service, professional advice for living at home and short term break holiday scheme's.
We are involved in the everyday running of dealing with 'Disability Issues'. The Disability Consultancy Services Team (DCS) provide Disability Awareness Training and Access Audits to company's/businesses that want to meet the Disability Discrimination Act 1996 or understand their rights, commitments and most of all their Legal Duty towards people with disabilities.
This is where our team of highly trained personnel can help your company/business. We hold several PowerPoint workshops for "Disability Awareness Training". One workshop is designed around 'Employees', whilst the other is designed around 'Service Providers'. The presentations are interactive, flexible and can be customised to suit your requirements. As we are a not-for-profit organisation, we are able to offer our full day course for £350.
Our services also include all aspects of access consultancy work, from general access advice and appraisals at the initial design stage through to comprehensive access audits of completed buildings, including advice on policies and procedures and helping you to comply with the laws governing disabled access.

Access Audits
The Disability Consultancy Services have a team of disabled and able bodied staff, who are also experienced in Auditing premises for suitable access. This gives us the advantage of practical experience of 'Access Problems'.
